Board Members are elected each year at the annual Honor Club Conference and have the opportunity to give back to Honor Club by helping plan Conference, serving on committees, screening applications, connecting members, and much more! We encourage any members who would like to give back to the North Carolina 4-H Honor Club to consider running for a board position.
Interested in serving? Then plan to attend Honor Club Conference! During our business meeting on Saturday, we will have nominations for each of the available positions. All members who are in good standing and are willing and able to commit to the responsibilities of the position are eligible to run. Officers serve a one-year term (August 1st to July 31st of the following year), and district directors serve a two-year term. All board members should plan to attend one board meeting in the spring of their term, as well as 4-H Congress and Honor Club Conference. Each position is valuable to the team and also consists of specific duties, which you can learn more about by reading the Honor Club Constitution. If you have any additional questions about serving as a Board Member, feel free to contact us.
